Why I'm Running

I love Waterford. As a little girl, I attended St. Mary’s School and was fascinated by the history and charm of our historic village. I moved here with my family 14 years ago and am so appreciative of this community for its beauty, walkability (my dog, Abby and I walk it every day), but most of all because of the amazing people who live

I moved here with my family 14 years ago and am so appreciative of this community for its beauty, walkability (my dog, Abby and I walk it every day), but most of all because of the amazing people who live here. If elected, I plan to use my executive leadership and management experience to implement initiatives focused on enhancing our community’s quality of life, strengthening our community, and fostering collaboration with our village's partners.

My Professional Background

Why I'm Running

I grew up in Halfmoon and went to St. Mary's School where I made my First Communion in St. Mary's Church. Outings to the 8th Street Park, St, Mary's Church Bazaars, and the 1976 Centennial Barge are all part of my childhood memories.

My husband, Jeff, son, Nolan, and I moved into one of the oldest homes in the Village of Waterford in 201

My husband, Jeff, son, Nolan, and I moved into one of the oldest homes in the Village of Waterford in 2012 and St. Mary's became our parish church. (It was a privilege to sing in the choir for several years with our amazing organist, Stan Mauraski.)

I have a daily step goal that gets me out walking throughout our village and on our trails. I also love to garden - the more flowers the better! We're gradually fixing up our historic home (built when John Adams was president).

I began my career in public service, in the administration of Governor George Pataki, gaining an understanding of state government operations and compliance requirements. I also served as Executive Director of a statewide non-profit where I managed a small staff, met payroll, and reported to a board of directors. I helped found and chaired the inaugural board of a local charter school.

In my current role as a Senior Program Manager for a national consulting firm, I oversee large-scale training and technical assistance projects for federal and state agencies, ensuring fiscal compliance and project success. I'm a seasoned facilitator, experienced in strategic and implementation planning around public policy. Much of my work has focused on helping states and communities around the country coordinate their resources.

Because of these diverse experiences, I have experience bringing people together, identifying common goals, and developing actionable plans. These skills will be invaluable in fostering unity and progress in Waterford.
